I’m going to go ahead and just speak for what I believe majority of the world when I say there are few things I love more than pizza. When you combine my other favorite things; surprising people, gift-giving, cooking and cake, well it’s just the best day ever, really. But more importantly, pizza.
Well, more importantly also, my boyfriend’s birthday was yesterday. We had just treated ourselves to an anniversary trip to the San Juan Islands (if you ever find yourself with a chance to go there and have your life changed, please go and have your life changed) so we knew Valentine’s Day and his birthday would be a bit more low key. So, some cake, balloons and a homemade pizza later, we had ourselves a birthday party for two. He was happy, and we were both full off of this super easy, quick homemade pizza that took as much time to make as it did to eat (read: not long).
Look! PIZZA! Best Valentine’s gift, really. On my blog!
I’ve spent a lot of my time blogging for different companies, clients, etc. I’ve spent a lot of my time scrolling through Tumblr, Pinterest, WeHeartIt and taking in every inspirational quote and thinking how right it was, save it for later, etc etc. I’ve spent a lot of my life making bucket lists and goals and imagining in my head some scene that plays out where I do everything I want to do and it works. And I’ve spent a lot of my life wishing, hoping, letting myself down, and not being the best person I could be.
And then one day I decided the only person standing in my way was myself. Duh, right? But there’s knowing that, and knowing that. And I just decided I was going to take control of being aware that I knew that, and make strides to accomplish everything I wanted and needed to do to make myself happy and improve my life.
So I made a blog about kicking my own ass into gear and trying to be happy and change everything about my life. There’s going to be homemade pizza, parties and fun stuff coming up on it too. Follow along, I’d love it!
